i³ is a 2 year project which commenced on 1st January 2003. There are 6 main phases in the development of the project as detailed hereafter:

Phase 1 Training Needs Analysis (TNA)

| Objective: | To identify the training and support requirements of the personnel of business incubators and business & innovation centres (BICs), and to identify existing training options for such personnel. |

Phase 2 Materials Development

| Objective: | Based on the Training Needs Analysis, to develop a package of highly relevant training and support materials for incorporation in to the website. |

Phase 3 Technical Realisation

| Objective: | To develop and launch an I-Cubed website incorporating the training materials in a user-friendly and accessible manner. |

| Objective: | To ensure maximum relevancy and usability of website prior to open-access uploading. |

Phase 5 Dissemination
| Lead Partner: | EBN/EBAN |
| Objective: | To co-ordinate the widespread dissemination
of the product to: Incubators and innovation centres;
representative organisations; key actors in the promotion
of business development and innovation; key actors
in the promotion of vocational lifelong learning. To generate feedback on the product throughout its development thus maximising its appropriateness for the target group. |
